Spider Monkey Experience
Swing into the world of Spider Monkeys!
Join your host for a guided tour of our Primate Kitchen, where you’ll see how fresh meals and daily diets are prepared for our troop throughout the day. You’ll then head back of house and step into our Spider Monkey habitat to assist keepers with scattering enrichment items, which help keep the troop mentally stimulated while promoting natural behaviours typical of the species.
After exiting the exhibit, make your way to an intimate viewing area to watch the Spider Monkeys swing, climb, explore, and interact with the enrichment you’ve helped provide. Along the way, our keepers will introduce each member of the troop, sharing their individual stories, bonds, and behaviours.
Each experience will be unique, allowing our keepers to let the individual animals shine and give them the choice and control on how they participate.
